This funding will allow Arts Enrichment for All develop two full 10-week sessions for the Fall and Spring sessions throughout the year. This includes lesson plans, with references to the standards put forth by the school districts and NAEYC for the foundations of learning, and all translation in English and Spanish for registration, take home materials, surveys and performance communication. This will allow our teachers to feel more confident in what the impact they are making in our community and provide consistency at each site where we provide the programming.

This funding will allow Arts Enrichment For All to have a stable foundation in which to build our programs. We are a relatively new non-profit in Fresno and we have been in fast growth mode the past year. This funding will help us to build our staff and our systems and processes to become a well-rounded organization that will be around for many, many years to come. This funding will also allow us the opportunity to become more visible in the community. We want to become more active in community events around the city. The funding will allow us to build the personnel to support this goal.
Award Amount: $72,707.78
The funding you are offering through The Children’s Movement of Fresno will help us to cover the costs of materials to get us started with dance, fine arts, and drama programs in the school where we have Prop 28 funding available. We will be able to sustain these programs each school semester through the Prop 28 and Measure P funding we have secured.
Award Amount: $30,000
With support from the KDA Creative Corps, Arts Enrichment For All will be able to develop the MIGHTY ME! curriculum in both English and Spanish and implement it into many communities in the Central Valley. It is our goal to bring the arts into the hands and bodies of the children in the Central Valley of California.
The MIGHTY ME! curriculum is four weeks of learning aimed at teaching young children, ages 3-8, the value of being healthy in body and mind through their personal hygiene practices, the food they put in their bodies, how they build relationships and how they care for themselves. Through research on health and young children and the implications of the Covid-19 pandemic, it’s important that children do not only hear that they need to take health precautions, but learn what it really means to care for their own health. We will dance and sing our way to becoming mighty.
We are also looking forward to the opportunity to hire multilingual artists to develop and implement the programs.
With support from the California Arts Council, Arts Enrichment for All Inc. will be able to get our creative movement arts program into the hands and bodies of up to 500 children in schools that have been identified as economically impacted in the Central Valley of California.
