Arts Enrichment For All was created to encourage youth of the Central Valley to step away from screens and actively participate in the visual and performing arts.

Arts Enrichment For All addresses this through community outreach programs that engage underserved students by bringing opportunities to them, thereby removing major obstacles, such as transportation or financial barriers.

The Arts have been a lifetime journey for Erin Burd. Dance and the Performing Arts have had a profound impact on her life at an early age. As she continued her education, her family fell into financial hardship when her father's health deteriorated and he was unable to work. This forced Erin to find new ways to pay for her dance and performing arts lessons. She began teaching and working around the studios to pay for her classes through her high school years.

Every job that she worked at in the Arts, from California to North Carolina, she witnessed that opportunities to join dance classes and other arts programs were only available to certain demographics. This sparked a passion inside of Erin to advocate open doors for all children to exposure and opportunities in the Arts.

With that motivation in mind, Birdy's Kids in Motion, a preschool mobile creative movement studio, was created and is still operated by Erin Burd. Beginning in 2011, Erin offered programs in four counties in California: Fresno, Madera, Tulare, and Kings. As part of her mission, Erin sets aside scholarship funding for children in need at each center that is served. Over the past 11 years, Birdy's Kids in Motion has exposed over 10,000 students to the Arts and has impacted over 25,000 audience and community members since its inception.

Erin's father was diagnosed and passed away from leukemia in 2014. He had a big impact on Erin's entrepreneurship journey. His last question to Erin was how will make you a bigger impact in the world?

In 2015, Erin turned her focus into educating the educators to bridge the gap to make the arts more affordable and available for all. She taught curriculum and arts development through workshops and trainings locally and for CCAEYC and NAEYC. She also developed an international coaching and consulting practice for studio owners and educators. She published her first book and became a sought after speaker.

Erin Burd has now made it her mission to assure every child has the opportunity for developmentally appropriate art curriculum and experiences, and so Arts Enrichment for All was born.
